Sprint Memo to Employees: Don’t Speculate About Us Getting the iPhone

Sprintfeed got their hands on an internal memo directing their employees to  “not speculate about Sprint getting the iPhone.”   Some people have interpreted this memo as confirmation Sprint is getting the iPhone since it doesn’t instruct employees to deny the rumor.  That strikes us as a pretty stupid interpretation. The memo doesn’t strike us us particularly odd.  As a matter of fact, it is perfectly normal.  The memo was probably in reaction to employees providing customers with their guesses on whether or not Sprint will be getting the iPhone and the company simply wanted to stop misinformation from spreading.
