It is essentially a virtual pinboard of your life. This app allows you to display all the things that interest you, that you find different, attractive, neat, bizarre, or whatever you like. It’s a collage of your interests. This app even works as a planning tool when organizing a special event like a wedding where you can store pics and inspirational ideas for that special idea. Keep your cherished recipes organized, plan an outfit for a special night out, or Pin photos or images of home decorating ideas with pics of wallpapers, paints, and upholstery. Pinterest is also a social media platform, because you can search for and find those who share  your interests as you posts all your faves. You can check out all your friends' and family members' Pinboards, so you can see where their interests lie. As well, there is a browsing Pinboard tool that is a great way to gather inspiration and ideas from those people who share similar interests. For those Pinboards you like, you can choose to follow the person so you can see all of his or her updates. Features include being able to re-pin, comment on pins, and even "like" pins. The way it works, is that once you’ve installed the app on your browser, you use the “Pin It” button to take an image and add it to your Pinboard. You can Pin an image from any website. The app will automatically credit the original creator by providing a source link. This app is both easy and fun to use and is a great way to find people with similar interests.
