I really like the idea behind this fitness app, and it definitely appeals to me far more so than the majority of options for a health app that I review in the Health & Fitness category of the App Store because of the more rugged and intense nature of the activities. This is not your traditional gym app.

This app covers an almost limitless number of topics pertaining to performance and the body itself, covering everything from aerobic and anaerobic work to weightlifting techniques and even active recovery.
There is loads of information encompassing many areas of exercise physiology and the kind of bodily systems and structures that are brought into play by different forms of exercise, so you can really build an understanding of how to push yourself harder for longer.
I really like this approach because it takes a more respectful stance towards the user like, “here is why we’re doing x, y, z,” instead of just throwing out a list of commands for you to blindly follow, doing the same thing every day.
