eBay App App Review
Introduction
Free to download with no in-apps special up sells, it seems eBay has developed a pretty solid tool for buying and selling. The last thing you need when bidding on an item (or selling one for that matter) is for the app to crash. Its latest features include instant mobile buying, an improved selling flow, an advanced speed for bidding, a way to add and remove your favorite sellers, plus new payment support for Singapore and Malaysia. You can also filter feedback for buyers and sellers and landscape support on both iPad, iPhone and iPod touch make the sleek interface easy to work with.
More Information
You still have the usual search features, such as categories, condition, item description and the rest but one missing component is that you don’t get reminders for items that need shipping – or maybe this will be included soon as many reviews are suggesting it. You do however get the option to get notifications from bidders plus when the item your selling is about to expire. For buying you get poked when someone’s out-bid you and when you’ve actually won.
You also have SMS capabilities to pass on info and share items on the usual social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter with one quick tap, and you can quickly have a search of your favorite saved searches and sellers to get a glimpse of the latest news. The latest 2.6.1 version includes the ability to play videos on your device in the description of the item as well as writing long passages in the sell flow. The display is particularly simple, especially when selling, so you can see who’s watching your item, with the amount of bids listed.
This is the best app to sell stuff and buy stuff on the Internet and iOS platforms.
