TAPit Free by Blue Ribbon LLC is an app meant to be used with TheAnswerPad.com, a website designed to help students learn and teachers teach.

The technology offered is specifically created to engage students so that learning is easier, more effective, and fun! You can connect with your students digitally using this app, great for kids who have an iPad or bring their laptop to school.

You can also use your iPad to capture all the data from existing paper tests, and score it, too.

The app is free for use for both iPad and browser-based use. The teacher version is browser-based and is free for a teacher with up to 36 students. This gives you support via email and a huge library of video tutorials.

The free version can be upgraded to AnswerPad+, which gives you premium features like phone support, the ability to assign advanced functions, and the ability to bundle sheets together, among others.

The TAPit app allows students to draw on a template or custom graphic, show work, and complete tests, all on their device. Teachers will then see reports by student, skill, class, and more.

Any teacher wishing to use this app or have their students use the app must be registered on The Answer Pad website.

TAPit Free was updated to Version 1.3 on March 1, 2013. The update made a number of additions.

I’m no teacher, but I can see how this app would really help bring education to the next level using tools appropriate to this generation. Check it out!
