User Experience

This app is fairly easy to use and the interface is self-explanatory enough for any beginner to be able to start up the app and find their way around in very little time.

The way information is presented on your handicap and game in general can sometimes appear a little confusion; however, I would imagine that this may be somewhat clearer for a seasoned golfer.

To use this app, you will require an official USGA Handicap Index® to be issued by a State or Regional Golf Association that uses the GHIN service.
 

Features

This app enables you to post your golf scores and view your official United States Golf Association of USGA Handicap Index. GHIN Mobile is a great way of not just tracking your latest scores but monitoring your progress over time to see how your handicap changes.

You can also view news and results from recent events, as well as having access to a couple of handy features called the Interactive Course Handicap Calculator and Handicap Index Lookup, which will give you a much clearer idea of where you stand in the overall scheme of things.

I’m not a massive golf enthusiast but I can definitely appreciate how useful an app like this could be to a somewhat more zealous golfer.

It can be difficult to gauge your standings in a sport like golf but an app like GHIN Mobile provides you with a much more tangible point of reference so you can see exactly what level you’re at and set challenges for yourself for each course accordingly.
