PicJointer photo merging app is awesome and it definitely receives a glowing recommendation from me! Check our our review to see why I feel so strongly about this app.
Pic of the Litter
Upon starting up this app for the first time, you’ll be presented with a huge selection of different frames to choose from.
I immediately found this to be quite a striking feature because I’ve seen a lot of photo collage apps that will include maybe a dozen or so frames, with the rest being available only via in-app purchase. Pic Jointer goes so far as to offer you 64 frames completely free of charge!
After choosing the frame you like, you’ll reach the main interface which enables you to start adding your photos to the spaces within your frame.
Before you do that, be sure to check out the palette icon at the bottom of the screen as this enables you to adjust the color of your frame, as well as including 24 pre-designed textures to make things even more interesting.
Create Crazy Cool Custom Collages
The interface changes a little once you start importing photos, giving you the option to replace the selected photo, undo your last action, or flip the image within its portion of the frame.
If you tap the Fx button in the bottom right-hand corner, you’ll see that you can also apply a selection of filters and effects to your photos, such as Aged, Sonoma, BWGrained, PaperToss, and the always-reliable Auto-Enhance.
Once you’ve perfected your collage, you can then share it with others online via Facebook, Twitter, and email. You can also save your photos to your Camera Roll or print them out, and I especially like the way you can choose between Normal and High quality for sharing.
