Introduction
Tap A Dot is a very simple and straightforward game for the iPhone and iPad, which will help you pass the time more quickly, all the while testing and improving your reflexes.
This game entails the tapping of dots as and when they appear green in color. As you start playing, you'll soon find out that a lot of time has passed without your realizing it, which I guess is the mark of any good videogame!
You can find this app in the Games section of the App store, where you will be able to download it onto your iOS device for free.
Let's take a look at the features of this app.

Interface, Info, & Instructions
Tap A Dot takes up a minimal 0.3 MB of space on your iOS device, which comes out to far less than a single photograph you'd take using your camera. The lightweight nature of this app makes it very speedy, which certainly adds to the user experience.
When you launch this app, you'll be taken to the main menu, which consists of three options: Survival, Blackout, and Info. The first two options are the two different gaming modes and the Info option will instruct you on how to play each of the modes.

Survival & Blackout Modes
The highlight of this app is the Survival mode. Users are presented with an arrangement of nine red dots, an option to go back, the high score, and a text box that says Start. When you start the game, you'll find a random dot turns green. This is when you have to quickly tap on that dot. Each dot you tap will give you a point.
As the game goes on, you'll find the green dots appear at higher frequencies, sometimes with two or three dots appearing at once. If you don't press the dots in time, you're done for! There are no 'lives' or second chances, because after all, this is Survival mode!
The alternate gameplay mode is the Blackout mode. Here you'll find 12 red dots, which appear a little bigger than the dots in Survival mode, arranged in rows of three. The objective of this game is to tap on all of the dots one by one, as quickly as possible. The “High Score” in this section of the game consists of the lowest time in which any player has tapped all the dots on that particular device.
Blackout mode is a nice little add-on to Survival mode, but I do think the latter has a lot more potential for fun gameplay.
