Take an Adventure with Ned
NedTheNeuron welcomes your child to take an adventure through the brain with Ned. Ned is on his first day working in the brain, and has to learn all about the brain and what it does. He also will learn what it’s made of and how this all turns into our sense of touch on our skin. Through the many activities included in this app, your children will learn lots of in-depth information to take to science class.

Some of the activities are included in the 34-page full color storybook that also has rich audio voices, music, and interactive content to keep your child flipping the pages. When they’re done there, they can head over to the three mini-games that will have them exploring the science behind how our brain helps us to move, feel, and more.
Lots to Learn
NedTheNeuron includes over 35 concepts about the brain. These are toned to the age bracket of a six to eleven year old, so it’s great for almost any elementary aged student. Honestly, if your child is a little younger or a little older, then the app will still be engaging. My toddler may not have fully understood the concepts, but she can start to learn and revisit later, and similarly if your 13 year old is interested in neuroscience, then this is a great app to introduce the many fascinating things that brains can do. Seriously, over 35 concepts!

Another thing that I really like about this app is that there are no in-app purchases or third-party ads popping up all the time. Some of the ‘x’s are rather hidden and my kids can’t play the games when there are constant ads that I have to stop what I’m doing to shut off. Thank you for not including these!

NedTheNeuron is an iPhone and iPad educational app that will teach your child between the ages of six and eleven over 35 concepts about the brain. It has a 34-page full-color interactive story book with rich audio voices and music, three mini-games, and so much more. It also does not have any in-app purchases or third-party ads which is huge when I’m trying to get my children to learn independently for a few minutes. Overall, a great educational app that I will definitely recommend in the future.
