Design Creator app review: a simple drawing app for the artist in you
Introduction
Design Creator by Tech BLA Solutions Pvt Ltd is a simple and fun drawing application which makes it easy to sharpen your skills. It doesn’t matter what age you are or what level of ability you’ve achieved as an artist – with a little practice this simple drawing application can help you improve your skills. This app does contain some of the standard tools you’d expect to find in any drawing application, as well as a couple of extras thrown in. This is a free app and it’s compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Practice Your Drawing Skills
Drawing apps are pretty common in the App Store and they can vary greatly in their sophistication. Some of these apps offer dozens of different brush choices, hundreds of colors, and various filters for producing artistic creations, but others are very basic in their design offering only one or two different options. Design Creator probably falls somewhere in the middle – it does have some extra tools that make this a little bit more than just your basic run of the mill drawing app, but it’s a long way from being what you’d consider a premium drawing app.

Unfortunately this app isn’t without its issues. It is full of ads – with full paged pop up ads appearing frequently and banner ads at the bottom of every page. These can be removed with an in-app purchase. Overall the app does work pretty well though without any glitches and its simple interface is easy to learn – especially with the basic introductory instructions that greet you every time you start a new project. This app will require 20.5 MB of available space on your iOS device.
The Essentials
The main interface of the app features four different options: draw, dotted, trace, and store. The drawing option features some simple tools such as six different brush strokes, a pretty decent color chart to choose from, and an eraser if you want to redo a part of your work. You also have the option of including a photo from your library as part of your drawing which is a pretty cool feature that expands your options.

The other two options are great four younger users who aren’t quite ready to create art on their own yet. Both the tracing section and the connect-the-dot section have a lot of pictures to choose from and more are available via in-app purchase. The same drawing tools are available in these sections as well so once you use one section the rest of the app will be familiar to you. You can save your creation to your gallery or you can share it via social media as well if you prefer.

Final Words
If you’re looking for a simple drawing app that’s easy to use and is efficient, Design Creator is a pretty good choice. The app works well and includes tracing and connect-the-dot sections as well for the newbie. There are certainly more sophisticated drawing apps available, but this is a decent effort and great for beginners.
