Solve the Maze
If you’ve played other maze style games Amaze Ball won’t be unfamiliar to you. The best maze games get progressively more challenging as you complete more levels, and it doesn’t take long before the levels in this one become extremely challenging. They are all solvable though – you just have to give the grey matter a little exercise. What’s great about Amaze Ball is that the simple graphics allow you to concentrate on solving the puzzle – bells and whistles may be fun to look at, but in this type of game they’re nothing more than a distraction.

The one major issue with this game is that it doesn’t orientate itself properly if you try to use it in landscape mode on an iPad – switching to portrait won’t fix it either, you’ll have to exit right out of the game and reboot it with your device in portrait mode to get it to work properly. There are also full page ads you’ll have to contend with that pop up from time to time in this one. This app will require 19.3 MB of available space on your iOS device.
How to Play
The concept of this game is very simple. Your objective is to move a ball across a board to the exit at the other end. What makes it challenging is what you have to do to get there. The ball will only stop once it’s in motion if it runs into an obstacle, so you can’t just move it one square at a time carefully guiding it to the exit. You have to use the various walls scattered across the board to stop your momentum and guide you across the finish line. The first couple of boards are easy, but it quickly gets quite challenging.
