Cookid Teaching Jar app review
Cookid Teaching Jar
Price: Free
Cookid Teaching Jar by Juan Pedro Lozano is an education app that teaches new words using a fun game to reinforce your child’s learning.
Cookid Teaching Jar is free for a limited time, so make sure you grab this app while you still can! The oven is ready, and learning has never been so fun. Using a quick and fun game the app teaches while your child visually recognizes words, so no previous reading experience is necessary.
The app comes with a very simple interface containing cookie-shaped buttons; in addition, it offers simplified playability for children two years and up.
Based on the level of difficulty your child will have to cut, stretch, and crush cookies in order to find the hidden surprise. By matching the surprise with its name your child is rewarded, increasing the enjoyment provided.
The game's difficulty changes to match the child, with it getting easier after incorrect guesses and more difficult the more accurate your child becomes. The app offers nine different game levels with a total of ninety words and constant positive reinforcement. You won’t have to worry about annoyances from ads, web links, and notifications, as there aren't any. This is just a good honest app!
Cookid Teaching Jar was released on February 19, 2013. This is a solid app that has really helped my daughter with her reading! This app engages children, keeping them focused and entertained.
For: iPad with iOS 5.1 or later
