Star Command by Star Command, LLC is an exciting adventure of a game that involves building your own starship, recruiting crew members, and managing the internal systems while navigating amongst the stars.

This game boasts a great element of progression wherein you can level up your crew members and learn new skills to make your ship more powerful. There are a variety of ship hulls to choose from and you also have a choice between different playing styles such as science, engineering, and tactical.

There are 10 different alien species for you to discover and not all of them are friendly so you will need to make sure your defense and weapons systems are up to scratch in case you find yourself under attack!

Star Command was updated to version 1.0.1 in mid-May of 2013. The update improved the playability of the Black Hole skill level and also decreased the attack power and firing rate of enemies. The current version has a total of 269 customer ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars. 

This game is like a Star Trek fan’s pixilated dream come true. There are loads of customization options and while the graphics aren’t amazing, the pixel style of artwork adds a novel element to the game play that I find quite quirky and fun.
