Track All Your Stats
This app allows you to quickly and easily track all the important details of your cycling trip. As mentioned you'll be able to see how far you traveled and how long it took you to travel that distance, what your average pace and speed were, your bearing, and more. What's really cool is that the map even draws out your route so you don't have to visualize it in your head.

In order to make the app more user-friendly your speed can be displayed as kph, mph, meters per second, knots, or feet per second. The same goes for distance. View it in nautical miles, feet, meters, kilometers, or miles. With that variety of options you’re sure to find one that suits your wants and needs.
I have to say I find the app to be incredibly accurate when it comes to the GPS readings. There is no effort on your part as the app does everything for you. I really enjoy using it in map mode so I can view what my route is.
Not Just For Cyclists
Another benefit of this app is that it’s not just for cyclists. Perhaps you enjoy walking and want to have the same sort of statistics for your walking routes. The app tracks you no matter what so go ahead and use it on your walks, jogs, hikes, or any other activity you would like to track.

There are some personalization options available here such as the fact that you can turn the GPS off if you like. Plus when you are ready to start a new activity that you want to track all you have to do is hit the reset button to start over.
I do appreciate that this app is so simple to use and that there aren’t many bells and whistles to confuse you with; however, at the same time, this works as a negative because the user interface is the exact opposite of sleek and modern. I also think this app could do with a few extra features.

Final Thoughts
The Cycling GPS app has a few positive features but for me the negative outweighs them. I just feel this app is too basic and even though it’s free there are better options available that will offer all of these same features and a whole lot more. I’m going to have to pass on recommending this one.
