This iPhone pranks app does exactly what it says on the tin, delivering on all of its promises and providing you with a funny way of tricking your buddies.

While not exactly the most productive app I’ve ever had the pleasure of stumbling upon, I’m sure that some of you will get a fair few laughs out of this one, so this is definitely a top iPhone pranks app that the pranksters amongst you are going to want to take for a spin.

It's the Cops!

When you first start using The Best Police Lights and Siren Free! you’ll be presented with the main menu which includes a link directly to the Lights and Siren section, the Ranking section which I’ll cover in a moment, and a link to a Halloween Game which is downloadable as a separate app which is unrelated to this one.

The Lights and Siren section is where you’ll find the eye-hurting police lights, and by tapping once on the screen you’ll be able to bring up the main dashboard to control the light and siren settings.

You can chose to either have a single light on the screen which flashes from red to blue, or two lights on the screen which flash among red, blue, and white. As I’m sure you’ve already guessed, tapping the Siren button will activate the siren, so make sure you’re not holding the phone too close to someone’s ear!

Earn Experience Points and Medals

Something about The Best Police Lights and Siren Free! which has me a little confused is that you can gain experience points or XP by performing actions such as switching the lights and siren on and off.

The more you tap each Lights and Siren button, the more experience points you earn, or rather, the higher the arbitrary number on the screen goes. After earning a certain amount of experience points you can then go and check out the Ranking section.

Depending on how much XP you’ve accrued, you’ll be awarded a bronze, silver, or gold medal. I really don’t have the faintest idea what this is all in aid of but it’s always nice to be awarded a medal from time to time so I’m not going to complain!
