Millions of Songs to Enjoy

When you first start using this app you’ll be prompted to create an account but don’t worry because you can use your Facebook account, meaning the registration process is over in a matter of seconds.

Once you’re all set up, you’ll notice that you are given a one-month free trial which allows you to test out all of the various features to see if you want to sign up for an ongoing subscription.

The home screen features a selection of New & Featured artists, as well as a selection of Playlists for you to choose from. You’ll also notice a menu icon in the top right-hand corner which is where you’ll be able to access the rest of the features contained within Anghami.

Your Very Own Personal DJ

Within the main menu you’ll notice that there is a section for the song currently playing on Anghami, and I love the way you can tap on it to jump straight into directly streaming the song. This is a great way of discovering new music that you might not necessarily have opened your mind to.

The Personal DJ section is my favorite as it enables you to specify whether you’re looking for Arabic or International music, as well as selecting music for things such as Chilling, Driving, Just woke up, Reading, and more.

You can also refine your searches further based on criteria such as Instrumental, Relaxed, Best Of, Excited, and so on to be presented with your very own playlist of songs within a few seconds.

I’m always pleased to see developers going a little “out there” in terms of introducing musical styles to new audiences, and Anghami definitely achieves this with great effect.

I’ve been enjoying my free trial a lot and I would suggest at least sampling this app for a few weeks to see how you like it.
