Introduction
This is a great instant messaging app which uses your mobile phone number to provide you with a free text and photo sharing service that offers the ultimate in privacy and anonymity, thanks to obscured messages, timed self-destructing messages, and much more.
This is a very interesting app and I actually really like the concept.
I think it’s great for people to be able to connect with whatever degree of privacy and anonymity they want, and the self-destructing messages give the whole experience a very fun “Mission: Impossible” feel which has me grinning like an idiot!
Chat With Confidence
When you first start using this app you’ll be prompted to create an account by entering your email address and specifying a password. I’m a little disappointed to see that there is no registration via Facebook, but you only need to enter a couple of details so it isn’t a particularly lengthy process.
From here you’ll need to input your mobile phone number and input the three-digit verification code that will be sent to your phone via text message. After submitting your name, Frankly Messenger will then go about scanning your iPhone Contacts list to see if any of your friends already use the service.
Unfortunately for me, none of my friends actually use Frankly so I thought I’d take a couple of minutes to invite some people and see what kind of response I get.
Chat With Anonymity
The premise of Frankly Messenger is that you should be able to have instant messaging chats with people in an anonymous and uncensored format, and you’ll notice that each message that is sent will initially be blurred out and unreadable until the recipient taps on it.
This is demonstrated nicely when you first log in with a demo chat created with a lovely young lady by the name of Veronica.
After tapping on a message, a ten-second timer will begin counting down, and once the timer runs out the message will be removed and permanently deleted, providing you with the utmost security, privacy, and anonymity on the Internet.

Final Words
There isn’t much more to say about Frankly Messenger because it is pretty much just a standard run-of-the-mill instant messaging service, except with the added bonus of affording users a little extra privacy when they have chats.
Having said that, this app has been very expertly crafted and is definitely one that the IMers amongst you are going to want to take a look at.
