From there choose your card from seven different categories; the app even includes a "Belated" category presuming you didn't set your push notifications, or installed Birthday Cards after the event. 

Once your card is chosen, just post it to the receiver's wall with a small message above it. There: you're all done and now you won't have to feel bad for not wishing someone Happy Birthday!

 

It Works All Right But There Could Be More

The interface and setup for Birthday Cards is very easy, and there isn't much depth. The "cards" are essentially just small pictures; you cannot open or personalize them like many other apps of this kind. The only message you can provide is in the wall post that accompanies the card.

It's nice to have a comprehensive list at your fingertips of upcoming birthdays, but if you have synced your Calendar to your Facebook, all Facebook Events (including birthdays) are there. Besides, every time you log into Facebook it tells you whose birthday it is. The addition of a card is nice and may make your post stand out, but the cards are really bland and uninteresting compared to the other card apps out there.

If you're looking for something quick and easy to make it look like you went out of your way to wish someone a happy birthday then Birthday Cards for Facebook may work for you. I found it very rudimentary compared to other card-making apps on the market.

Birthday Cards does integrate very well with Facebook, and the comprehensive list of your friend's birth dates is helpful. But seeing as you can get all this information without using the app, it's a little underwhelming. The Birthday Cards app does have a lot of potential to be great; however, as of right now I find it lackluster compared to the other options out there.
