The app offers two modes where are Free Play which allows them to tell their own story however they like and there is Story Play that gives kids prompts as they go.

I really like the way the process is laid out so that each step is easy to follow. I find the Story Play mode to be much easier for kids to use, but then it doesn't allow them to be quite as creative. In general the user reviews are all very positive for this app, which is no surprise to me. The graphics are wonderful, the variety of items you can add to the story is fabulous, the sounds are plenty of fun, and I love that you can save your movies to watch and share with others.
