Under Settings, you find that you can select Sleep Cycle for the half hour variance mentioned above, or you can just set a wake time.
If you are wondering how this app records data, you simply place your phone, connected to the charger, under your pillow. If you are worried about strangulation, don’t use the app drunk. I have yet to even get my hand caught in the cord while it is under my pillow.
The only bug I’ve found is that if your phone goes to the lock screen, you may have to re-enter the app. This is especially annoying when you are trying to hit snooze or just turn off the alarm before waking your baby, partner, or whomever you share a bed or room with.
