If you should happen to live in Georgia then I would definitely recommend checking out this app. It certainly isn’t the most original of developments within the Weather category of the App Store, but the interface and overall functionality are both very solid, and I think it should do the job nicely.

If it doesn’t happen automatically, the first thing you’ll want to do when you begin using FOX 5 Storm Team is to access the Locations menu by tapping the house icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

From here you can use your device’s integrated GPS in order to determine your current location and immediately receive weather information relevant to your local area. You can also save multiple locations within the app, which is perfect for keeping an eye on the road conditions for your daily work commute.

You’ll also notice that the Map section, which displays live radar map imagery for your region, also displays the current temperature, humidity, and wind speed and direction. This screen also provides a basic overview of the weather conditions for today, yesterday, and tomorrow.

If you need a little more than just a basic summary, then the 10 Day section is where you’ll most likely want to get most of your information. This displays an overview of the high and low temperatures for the coming week or so, and you can tap on each day to view even more information.

Tap on each day to bring up a text summary of the evening conditions for that day, as well as other meteorological factors such as UV Index, sunrise and sunset times, and chance of precipitation.
