Laugh & Learn Learning Letters App review: fun and educational regardless if you own the toy
Introduction
Even if you didn't buy Fisher Price’s Apptivity Monkey, you can still utilize the Laugh & Learn Learning Letters Monkey App on your iPhone and iPad. This app is designed to teach your baby the basics of letters, numbers, and shapes as well as modern technology, all at once.

You Are The Parent, You Make The Call
There’s been a lot of online debate recently surrounding young children using modern technology. Personally I feel it’s your choice as a parent, not mine, to condemn or support this decision. I’m just here to review the apps that have been designed, and the Laugh & Learn Learning Letters Monkey App is really good.
The best iPad apps for learning Math
Utilizing some fun interactive graphics, songs, and a basic interface that doesn’t overwhelm small children, this app excels at what it sets out to do. In fact it does it so well I find no difference in having your child using this app than sitting them down to watch an episode of Sesame Street.
In the ABC section, the app will lead your youngster through all of the letters from A to Z. Each letter is provided with a corresponding animation of an item that begins with that letter. Once you’ve reached the end of the alphabet your child can dance and sing to the alphabet song. The same goes with the 123 section; however, the song that accompanies the numbers continues throughout the lesson. This provides an easier way for your child to learn as the song reinforces the lessons learned.
This Works Incredibly Well Whether You Bought The Toy Or Not
I’m quite sure that the Apptivity Monkey toy, in which your iDevice sits in the Monkey’s belly, would provide an added level of enjoyment for your child. However the app itself works perfectly on its own and will provide your child with hours of educational enjoyment. And if your baby needs a break the app includes four fun and educational songs for them to enjoy.

Final Thoughts
The Laugh & Learn Learning Letters Monkey App is a top-notch way to introduce your baby or toddler to letters, numbers, and shapes on the iPhone or iPad. It's fun, interactive, and will definitely not only teach but also reinforce these basics through animation and song. Yes there has been controversy, but like with most things on the Internet people tend to read a brief article or blog and allow that to form their opinion. I believe that if many of the parents who are opposed to this style of learning were to actually download and try the app for themselves they may actually see the benefits that are here.
