3Strike American Sign Language Fingerspelling app review: learn sign language on your schedule
Introduction
If learning sign language is something you have a need for or you're just interested in learning for your own benefit then there are plenty of ways to go about it. One way is to download the 3Strike American Sign Language Fingerspelling app that lets you learn sign language on your own time and at your own pace. It's also important to point out that this is a free way to learn the language. What makes this app fun is that it uses games to help you learn. The app can be used on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone.

Learn Through Fun
Learning can be a lot easier and more successful if it is approached in the way that works for you. Why not make learning a fun experience through an educational-inspired game? This is exactly the approach this app takes. You are given 26 signs in this app, one for each letter of the alphabet; then you need to see how many you are able to get right. You will be shown a sign and if you get it right, that's fabulous; however, if you get three wrong, the game is all done for you.
The best iPhone apps for learning sign languageTo add to the experience you can challenge your friends by checking out their scores and achievements. Who said that a little friendly competition couldn’t help with your learning experience? Also be sure to check out the fun facts that are available on the home screen.
The User Experience
This app consistently scores pretty high with users so the question is why? I think the app's simplistic design really works in its favor. It’s a simple concept, easy to use, and the quizzes are fun. There are no added features and tools, no fancy graphics and interactions, but it does a great job of helping you learn how to sign the alphabet in a fun and engaging way.
Best iphone and ipad appsI appreciate that the app is free so you can learn all 26 letters instead of just giving you a sneak peak. I also really like that you can challenge friends by checking out their achievements and scores, as this gives you an incentive to do as best you can. I do think the user interface could be cleaned up a bit because it feels a bit cluttered and scattered. With just a few minor adjustments I think the app would be a whole lot better.
When you are doing the quiz I also appreciate that when you get a question wrong it shows you the correct answer so you still learn in the experience.
