When you start up musiXmatch lyrics player for the first time, it will begin by scanning all of the tracks within your device so that you can immediately begin viewing relevant information once the process is finished.

After scanning your device for songs, musiXmatch will then prompt you to create a user account, and this can be achieved by using either your Facebook or Google account, so it should only take a couple of seconds before you’re up and running.

Once you’ve set up your account, all of your songs will be presented in a list format, similar to what you would expect to find in the standard iOS Music player, and you can begin browsing them as usual.

My absolute favorite feature of this app is a little microphone button in the top-right corner of the audio player. By tapping this, the app will mute the vocal tracks in your chosen song while also displaying the lyrics on-screen so that you can sing along to your favorite songs.

You can still hear the vocals ringing in the background because it would be impossible to remove them entirely without access to the master tracks, but I think the developer has done a great job of providing us music lovers with a way of making our showers just a little bit more fun!
