What's great is that not only are you able to find events through here but it also gives you the weather details, which of course plays into your outdoor activities and plans.

 

Using the App

First off, launching the app is very slow then once you get into the app navigating through it is equally as slow and tedious. From the main menu you can then move to the weather, maps, a chat feature, videos, photos, and more. For me I find it a bit hard to figure out where to find the information. The app is tied to WTAE Pittsburg 4 ABC so you can also view the latest news. The news all has an outdoor activities/event spin on it.

The user interface just feels disjointed to me and not user-friendly at all. Even the look of it is bland and feels dated. It’s unfortunate because it leaves a bad taste in your mouth and you end up not even really paying attention to the content because you are busy feeling frustrated with the app itself.
Users seem to be quite pleased, however, so I may be on my own with this one. What does work in this app’s favor is that is feels unique thanks to the content.
