If, like myself, you were born in the eighties, you will have grown up during the nineties, one of the best decades of all time, in my opinion. So many pop culture symbols and reference from then are still well-known now and everyone who was a kid back then is now a full-grown adult. Developer Conversion LLC must have thought the exact same thing and has developed one of the many Guess! Games that are available on the app store. Guess the 90’s! is made compatible with both iPhone and iPad and is a great way to relive and rekindle memories of that era.

The game work exactly as other quizzes that are available in the App Store. You simply see a photo and a mess of letters. It’s up to you to spell the name of the photo you see and for a correct answer you will receive a coin. The categories are widespread over anything that has to do with or happened in the nineties. Expect questions about toys, TV shows, artists , and tons of other nineties related stuff. The app is only in English, so for people outside the English speaking parts of the world, this might be a bit challenging sometimes. I never knew that those round plastic disks that came with bags of chips were called Pogs!

Hints and Help

Luckily, there are four ways to ask for help within the app. The first one is pretty obvious, but it’s very nice of the developer to include this functionality. Simply ask for help on Facebook and the app will post the question on your wall. If you’re my age, most of your friends will have grown up in the nineties too and you will have an answer in a few seconds! You can also spend the coins you’ve earned to receive hints. You can get the question answered for you, which costs significantly more than when you simply ask the app to remove useless letters or to fill in one of the letters in the field.
