Reviews

Introduction

Before you book your next flight be sure to take a look at this comprehensive iPhone and iPad travel app for full access to detailed information for more than 2000 airports around the world, plus extra features to make trip preparation a cinch.

The best iPhone and iPad apps for tracking flights

This is a fairly run-of-the-mill addition to the genre of apps aimed at providing airport information to travelers, but I’m particularly fond of the way in which this airport information app has packaged and presented the content.

There are a few great features in this app beyond the basic airport information, all of which are designed to make your trips a little easier and more efficient, so Airport Pro definitely receives a strong recommendation from me.

Keep reading our Airport Pro app review to see why I recommend it and to see how it compares to the best apps for airport information.

You’ll find a highly detailed arrivals and departures board that is updated in real time, ensuring that you receive the most up-to-date and accurate flight information.

Once you’re actually at the airport, you’ll have no trouble finding your way around thanks to intricately detailed terminal maps which display various restaurants, cafes, and other establishments for you to kill some time.

One feature I like in particular is the Next Flight tool which you can use to easily find the next available flight to your chosen destination should your current flight be badly delayed or canceled.

In addition to all of this, there is also a basic Packing List feature which, as the name would suggest, enables you to put together a simple list of essential items to make sure that nothing is forgotten in the post-vacation rush.

Final Words

Having lived on three different continents, I can definitely vouch for the variability of international airports in terms of the quality of services offered and the ease of navigation.

Airport Pro (All Airports): Flight Tracker + Packing List should definitely help to provide some much-needed peace of mind for those of you who would rather have airport and flight information at your fingertips, rather than having to rely on an airport you’ve never been to before.

This is a very solid iPhone and iPad app so I would definitely recommend keeping it handy if you’re as anxious a traveler as I am!
