This game will have you dodging all kinds of dangers and monsters while you revel in the excitement that goes along with exploring Egypt’s ancient mummies, pyramids, and legends. Your character is controlled by sliding your finger and you have the choice of using one of two players. There are four different chapters to make your way through, as you use the swipe and tilt controls to navigate through the obstacles. Take advantage of power ups and level ups for your character as you go along. The 3D running mechanic features sliding, tilting, jumping, and turning. All that hard work isn’t in vain, as you’re able to post your scores to the Game Center Leaderboards and Achievements so you can compete with all your friends as well. The endless game play ensures that the fun never stops in this game. 
This latest version has added more elements to the game and addressed some of the bugs from the original one. Some people are still experiencing lag times, but it doesn’t seem to be all the time. The graphics in the game are a little archaic-feeling and definitely don’t compare to some of the more polished ones we’re seeing out there today. You will likely replay the game a few times to see if you can better your score and get further; however, it doesn’t seem like the type of game that you will want to play for hours on end for months and months. Sure, it’s fun, but it feels limited in how far along you can go. All in all, it’s a fun basic-type game that will entertain you and give you a chance to immerse yourself in all things Egypt. From that standpoint alone, it’s worth giving it a try.
