Minecraft – Pocket Edition LiteMinecraft - Pocket Edition Live Rank: #76 on the Top 100 Free iPhone Apps List as of July 18th For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad The latest version of Minecraft grants players mobile accessibility with its latest Pocket Edition Lite version designed for iOS devices. Wherever you may roam no longer posts a hindrance to the continued construction of your Minecraft utopia. The minor edition 0.2.1 update comes with new ‘split touch’control and increased inventory slots. Earlier releases that contained issues concerning its graphic content where trees refused to budge, overtly illuminated resources, and other pixelated problems have now been resolved. Like all mobile adaptations, limitations come as a certainty; registering online multi-player worlds are not allowed, game saving is not permitted between sessions, and of the original 36 building blocks that made Minecraft landscaping unique, only 18 are utilized. There are no adversaries, no health progress, resources can’t be crafted, time cycle is unavailable, and exploring remote areas offers no rewards. Most critics recommend it as a starting tool for those unfamiliar with Minecraft. Mobility may no longer be an issue but if you’re after the real gaming experience settle for the PC version. Hopefully soon, fan-suggested additions are tackled in the upcoming updates.     Minecraft - Pocket Edition Lite App Review However, there are practical additions that make up for it such as great touch and tap controls, faster building constructions and auto jump by default prevents the player from plunging into certain doom. Special resources such as gold and diamonds are retained and all mining is performed by hand.
