Reviews

Introduction

Featured on the New York Times Sunday travel section in the March 2014 issue, StyleBook is an iPhone and iPad fashion app that helps you get the most out of the items in your closet by helping you curate them.

With more than 90 features to facilitate the organization of your closet, Stylebook clothes app enables you to import your clothes, put together some amazing looking ensembles, plan out your clothes for the next day or a big event, and understand the market value of your wardrobe like the cost per wear.

The Stylebook wardrobe app runs on devices with iOS 10.0 or later with support of up to iOS 14.0 and it is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It will need 35.8 MB of free memory space on your mobile device to download and install.

Created by an alum of Lucky magazine, who got her “in” as an intern at the Vogue Fashion closet, you are sure to be in good hands. Let's find out what this $3.99 app brings to the table in our Stylebook app review. Check out our best shopping apps list for more great options.

Your Very Own Virtual Wardrobe

Stylebook features your very own virtual closet, to which you can add pictures of your clothes, accessories, and shoes easily. Unlike a real closet, there is no limit to the number of clothes or accessories you could add to your virtual one.

The pictures of your clothes can be cut out using the in-app background removal tools that will make it easy for you to put together outfits while using this app. You can also categorize your clothes using the default categories, or by adding, editing or deleting categories. You can even search your closet for keywords or properties like fabric, season, color, and more.

Now that you have your clothes in your closet, you can “lay out” your outfits, so to speak, by trying out different combinations of the things you own. With all your clothes on the screen for your choosing, you might come across an idea that you couldn't have when combing through your physical closet.

Have you ever gone on vacation only to realize when you're there that you've left behind an integral part of your ensemble at home? Stylebook is here to fix that as you can create packing lists using this app and make sure you have all the different components you need to create your desired look.

You will be able to see stats on how often you wear certain clothes, the ones you never wear, and the ones that have been worn over and over for all they're worth!

If you are running out of ideas, then you can access our style expert section where you can read interviews with fashion insiders, learn to manage and innovate with what you have, and find out how to make clothes last.

Cons

  • There is nothing negative to say about this app

Final Words

Stylebook is a superb closet-organizing app and is certainly worth every penny, in my opinion. Grabbing any style magazines from your local stores would cost just as much and only give you limited information. I would highly recommend this handy iPhone and iPad app to all fashionistas out there.
