Most women could probably benefit from staying in tune with their menstrual cycle, and this periods app for iPhone and iPad has been designed to help you do just that by tracking your period and ovulation to better manage your mood and symptoms.

As I male writer I’m probably not the most suitable candidate for reviewing an app like this, but I suppose I can at least approach it entirely unbiased and give you ladies a clear idea of exactly what you can expect.

Needless to say, this is a high-quality development with a gorgeous interface and some very easy-to-use features that I think you’ll be able to pick up in no time at all. This app definitely receives a strong recommendation from me.

Once you’ve submitted some of your information you’ll begin receiving predictions of your next period and when you’ll be most fertile, so this app also doubles up as a handy fertility calendar. This is great considering that some apps are based on just this one feature alone.

Sync With Your Google Calendar

As well as receiving predictions you can also synchronize this data with your Google Calendar to have everything available in one place so that you can crosscheck to more effectively plan any activities or errands you have to run.

What’s more, the developer has been kind enough to apply a discreet label to the icon that appears on your device’s home screen rather than explicitly stating Period Tracker, so that seems rather thoughtful of them if I do say so myself!

Period Diary Pro (Period, Fertile & Ovulation Tracker) clearly isn’t for me, what with my lack of ovaries, a uterus, and what not, but I would definitely recommend it as an all-in-one period tracker and fertility calendar.
