Introduction

Here's a game that will test your reflexes, memory, reaction time, your ability to focus and concentrate, and even your hand-eye coordination. The Shape Time! app can be played on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone and gives players a true challenge. The game itself is quite easy to understand but because there are so many skills and elements you need to master at once you’ll find this one takes quite a bit of gameplay before you start to get good at it.

Catch Those Shapes

In this game a variety of shapes will be falling in different colors. It's your job to catch the falling shapes with the shape bar. Sounds easy right? Well it is in theory, at least. You need to think fast, act fast, and really focus in order to do well in this game. There are power-ups to gain that will help your gameplay such as the clock that slows down how fast the shapes are falling and the paintbrush to paint all the shapes the same color. The app supports Leaderboard so you can see exactly how well you're doing and you'll be awarded badges when you get a high score. When you do earn a badge be sure to brag about it to all your friends on Facebook. The game can be played by adults and kids so it’s a fun one to have handy.

This game is rather addictive right from the start and definitely delivers in the challenge department. The game starts off relatively easy and you are given a brief tutorial however within just a few seconds it already gets much harder. Shapes fall faster and faster and you need to focus so that you aren’t placing them in the wrong section on the shapes bar.

I think that works really well for the app because you’re busy focusing, you don’t need outside distractions from obnoxious sound effects and music.
