Pros
Cons
EPIC! - Books for Kids is an iPad subscription library service that includes many popular titles, many new titles, and many classic titles. The books available cover a great range of interests, and are selected for you children based on the interests that they select in the registration process.
If I could view a list of suggested books prior to registering, than I could at least take the list to the library, but as it is, I can’t access anything but the sign-up portion. Overall, this app is very well-put-together, and if you are interested in paying a monthly subscription fee for your child to get books every month, $4.99 is less than the price of one book.
As long as you commit to read more than one book a month with your child, and would buy it otherwise, this app will pay for itself and you will be bonding with your child through his or her education.
