Dr. Seuss Bookshelf app review

Reviews

Dr. Seuss Bookshelf app reviewDr. Seuss Bookshelf Price: Free For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad The free Dr. Seuss Bookshelf app by Oceanhouse Media allows you to organize, browse, and launch your favorite Dr. Seuss book, game, and camera apps on your iOS device. Basically, it’s a bookshelf app that makes finding the apps a lot easier, and lets you mark certain ones as your faves. Another great feature of this app is that it tells you about Dr. Seuss sales, and when new releases are coming out. It also gives suggestions for special dates and holidays. In the store through the app, you can sort Dr. Seuss apps by age, type, or price; browse to find new releases; or use the search features. When showing your apps, you can view all the titles to see what you have, launch them from the bookshelf, or, if you’re on an iPad, rearrange their order to suit you better. The layout of the Dr. Seuss Bookshelf is pretty cool. When you open the app, you’ll see four bookshelves: the top one is the Store, the second one is Featured, the third shelf is My Apps, and the bottom shelf is Favorites. You can drag apps from My Apps to the Favorites shelf to make a reading list, or just to sort out the ones you or your child tends to read a lot. Just tap one of the apps to launch it. If looking for a new app, just click on one of the sorting buttons: All, Type, Price, or Age. If you sort by Type, you can choose from among Dr. Seuss Classic Books, The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library, Games, and Cameras. The Price button is sorted into eight sections ranging from free to $8.99 or less. Finally, the Age button allows you to choose depending on the age or level of the reader: from Ages 3 and under to Ages 9-12.Dr. Seuss Bookshelf app review If you have a kid under the age of 12, and do a lot of reading and playing with Dr. Seuss, then this app is a must-have. It’s done in the typical fun style of Dr. Seuss, and any kid or parent will love to use it to organize their apps. Version 1.0.3 was released on September 14, 2012. While the app works on all iOS devices, some of the features work only on the iPad.
