Werewolf Simulator Adventure app review
Introduction
I had great expectations on Werewolf Simulator Adventure by developer DevelopmentSquared, developed for both iPad and iPhone. The premise of the game is almost unparalleled as I would have loved to terrorize some small towns as a werewolf and wreak havoc on the population of a medieval world. Regrettably, this game is so buggy that I haven’t played for longer than 10 seconds as the game keeps crashing on my iPad 2 device. That said, the game looks great and does give a great sense of power as a werewolf. The basic premise of the game is very simple and the game is pretty easy to control. The game is a truly unique experience for the App Store and weighs in at just over 80 MB.

Gameplay
The gameplay of the game is nothing more than a simple treasure hunt. You play as a werewolf and you need to go into the town (there are four different levels in the game) and find seven different coins to complete the level. You will need to do this while avoiding death, causing as much destruction and spilling as much blood as you can. By doing this you will receive more points. You only have two minutes for each try, but you can gain more time and points by collecting hearts that are also hidden through each level. To control your werewolf you only have to use the analog stick and a jump button. You cause destruction by simple walking into things which feels a bit lackluster and makes the game really basic in its premise.

Graphics and Sound
The graphics of the game are the biggest feature and at the same time it’s biggest downfall. The graphics look absolutely stunning, while the fact they are so straining makes the app crash all the time. The sound of the game pales in comparison of the graphics, which makes me wonder why the developer has chosen to make the game look so good, making so many concessions on every other part of the game. By now developers should realize that great gameplay and production values exceed the graphical prowess of any game at any time.

Conclusion
All in all this game is at all not what I expected of this game. Technically, the only thing this game has to do with werewolves is the fact that the main character looks like one. There are no special werewolf powers, and apparently this one can walk around during the day. The graphics are sublime, but are so heavy on the processor that the game keeps crashing every once in a while. The game is developed for both iPad and iPhone and is just over 80 MB.
