The best pregnancy apps for iPhone-2021
There have been some complaints regarding the efficacy of this hear my baby app, in actually being able to detect heartbeats, so I would recommend looking at the Pros & Cons section below before downloading this hear my baby app.
I’m happy with it overall and would recommend taking it for a spin as it's one of the better apps to hear your baby's heartbeat.
Save Your Recordings
This is a wonderful little app which has been designed to allow you to hear your baby’s heartbeat by using your iOS device’s integrated microphone. You’ll also be pleased to know that this app filters and amplifies heartbeat sounds for enhanced clarity.

You can easily save each of your recordings to listen to at a later date, and you can even view a graph line for a visual representation of your baby’s heartbeat sound.
Share Your Recordings Online
If you manage to get a decent recording from BabyScope and save it then you might also like to know that you can very easily share your recordings with your friends and family online via Facebook, Twitter, and email.
As I mentioned, you’ll want to look below for one fairly major user complaint, but aside from that this app has been very well-received and should go a long way to helping you to clearly hear your baby’s heartbeat.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Hear your baby’s heartbeat by using your iOS device’s integrated microphone
- The app filters and amplifies heartbeat sounds for enhanced clarity
- Save your recordings to listen to later on
- View a graph line for a visual representation of your baby’s heartbeat sound
- Share your recordings with others online via Facebook, Twitter, and email
Cons
- This app does appear to be pretty effective; however, please stay aware the it must be used exactly according to the developer’s instructions: “it does have an amplifying recording thing but I was unable to find my baby's heart rate and the app was difficult to use and the "tutorial" was vague. I'm so happy I tried a different app, Tiny Beats, that actually worked to pick up the heart rate, counted it, and was easy to use. Don't give up on fetal heart rate apps but maybe pass this one up”
Final Words
I absolutely love the idea behind BabyScope and can really see it putting some huge smiles on the faces of mommy’s and daddy’s everywhere, so be sure to check it out on your iPhone and iPad today!
