Jift Pro app review
Jift Pro
Price: $1.99
For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later
The Jift Pro app by Digital Chef is a new social networking client that combines Facebook and Google+.
Jift pro lets you jump back and forth between the two social networks fairly effortlessly. You can see your streams combined into one, which makes it possible to cross-share content, share, write posts, like, comment, +1, manage photos, and check-in, all from the same place.
You can choose to view the streams separately or as one unified stream; it's up to you.
Other things you can do with Jift Pro include searching and browsing for friends on both networks, browsing your likes, and browsing your Circles.
You can also browse your Notifications as one stream or shift right or left to view them separately.
When you buy the cross-posting/sharing in-app purchase, you can check-in to Facebook and Google+ at the same time, as well as share from one to the other.
It’s really easy to browse photos. From one unified stream you can save photos to your iOS device if you’re in the full-screen mode. If you’d rather see them separately, shift right to view your Facebook photo stream, or shift left to view your Google + stream. This works to separate comment streams, status updates, and all other streams as well.
The Jift Pro app was released on November 6, 2012. It is currently on its first version, and is available in English only. There are not yet enough customer ratings for iTunes to display an average rating. There are a couple feedback comments; problems seem to arise with authentication.
According to a communication from Jift developers, they say they're working on the two-step authentication process for Google+ users that will be released ASAP.
