Having Fun with Learning

Bitsboard isn’t just another educational app for kids. It’s a cut above the standard fair available in the app store. There are 25 different mini-games within the app: everything from flashcards to puzzles and word searches.

It’s just a whole lot of fun for the kids, and they’ll learn a lot too! At 76.6 MB it doesn’t take up a great deal of space on your device.

What makes this app that much better than other educational apps? There are just so many different in-app options that your kids will always have something new to try.

Let’s face it, a five- or six-year-old can have a limited attention span: when they start to get bored with one of the mini-games they can simply switch to another. It’s perfectly designed to suit the needs of young children.

The next step is to select boards from the available catalogue. You can begin with categories such as Action Words, Emotions, and First Sentences. Once you’ve selected a few boards to get you started you can tap on any individual board to access its options.

Within each board there are multiple mini-games such as Flashcards, Memory Cards, and Puzzles. Simply tap on a game to get started.

If you really want to take advantage of everything this app has to offer your children, you should create a user account. The app comes preloaded with several boards, but there are many more available if you register as a user. It’s definitely worth signing up!

Once you’re signed up, and you’ve downloaded the boards you want for your kids, you can start taking advantage of the apps features. They’re too many to mention here, but it’s fair to say that each mini-game is very easy to use.

After your child completes each mini-game they’re given a score card to track the progress. This is helpful for parents to keep track of how their kids are doing as well. You have the option to email the score card if you want to share the results with your spouse or another family member.

The scorecard also gives you a breakdown of the boards your child has already accessed. If you like, you can purchase a premium subscription which gives you access to a larger catalog of boards.
