Fans of King’s games will surely enjoy the familiar interface of Diamond Digger with colorful boards and a well-thought-out structure. It offers what appears to be a basic storyline in order to make the game more interesting.

Your character is named Diggy who happens to find a treasure map. In this game, you will embark on a digging spree to find hidden gems and other treasures.

Gameplay involves matching three or more similar diamonds to clear the board. The remaining diamonds on the board automatically drop and reshuffle after every match you make.

A new element of the game is the addition of water that flows from the top to the bottom of the screen. You need to clear a path for the flowing water by clearing away groups of diamonds.  The water will take you to new levels once it touches an exit point.

Like most King’s games, Diamond Digger Saga will draw you in and hook you within the first 12 levels. The game is easy, relaxed, and quite enjoyable. But things will start to get tricky as you advance through the higher levels.

You will find yourself stuck on a level with no more lives to spare. You then have the option to wait for at least 30 minutes to refill your life or you can buy more lives if you are impatient.
