You no longer have to worry about how to correctly spell that word or try to come up with a word to use in place of another thanks to this app. Not only does Dictionary.com give you more than 2,000,000 definitions, antonyms, and synonyms, but many functions work offline, giving it the ultimate versatility.

This English language Thesaurus and Dictionary offers fun daily content including the Hot Word and the Word of the Day with which you can impress all your friends. If you're not interested in receiving the Word of the Day notifications, you can turn off the alert.

If you come across a word you're unsure of how to pronounce, use the audio pronunciation feature to help you out. There are also example sentences given to help you understand the use of the word as well as the history and origin of the word.

There are spelling suggestions, your search history is saved, you can save favorite words, and there is a list of current trending searches. You can even perform five free voice searches.

Dictionary.com was updated on Oct. 11, 2012 and has 11,364 ratings with an average rating of five out of five stars.

One of my favorite things was the neat surprise you get when you shake your device, which is a random word and its meaning. Why not expand your vocabulary a little? The one downfall for me was the advertisements but that is the case with many free apps.
