Dora’s Ballet Adventure by Nickelodeon is a kid’s game featuring Dora the Explorer.

Dora and the gang are busy getting ready for their ballet recital and everyone is waiting on the Delivery Duck to bring their ballet slippers. When the Delivery Duck finally does arrive, everyone is shocked to find that he has brought the wrong thing: he brought scuba flippers instead of ballet slippers!

Now you must help Dora and Boots get their ballet slippers in time for the recital.

To get the ballet slippers in time for the recital you must help Dora and Boots through several quests. You have to read stories, solve puzzles, and follow the map to get to the place to find the slippers. The game makes full use of the tap and swipe functions such as swiping to wiggle your bunny ears.

The narration is done by Dora herself and all the usual Dora characters are present and accounted for.  The graphics are the expected cartoon-y animations and it feels more like you are watching a regular episode of Dora the Explorer on television.

Dora’s Ballet Adventure was updated to Version 1.5 on February 24, 2012 and included some performance enhancements.

I have always liked Dora and the adventures she takes you on with lessons on all different subjects as you go. It’s also nice to see a multilingual children’s show which has got my daughter interested in learning Spanish and now other languages.
