Jigsaw Puzzle by Critical Hit Software, LLC allows you to play puzzles no matter where you are thanks to the portability of your iPad.

Jigsaw puzzles are one of those addictive and challenging games that will keep you entertained for hours at a time. It's also a game the whole family can play. The app was actually made by "jigsaw puzzle experts" so you get the very best quality puzzles possible.

There are 60 high-definition puzzles to play, all of which keep you challenged and motivated to finish. There is also downloadable content, which includes additional free puzzles. The app offers updated puzzle packs on a regular basis so you have no chance of running out of puzzle options anytime soon.

Thanks to the iPad Retina display, the puzzles are nothing short of gorgeous looking and if you want you can even take your own pictures and turn them into a custom jigsaw puzzle. On the iPad you can play puzzles that offer up to 400 pieces.

You can start out by scattering all the pieces and move them into groups to help you start to put it together. If you want an extra challenge you can opt to rotate the pieces. There is the ability to work on more than one puzzle if you like and each time you finish a puzzle it will be saved.

The puzzles I tried were all challenging and quite fun. I really liked being able to use my own photos though, giving it a customized feel.
