There's no need to cart around multiple books or remember to grab your current read as you leave the house. With this app you can download the titles straight to your mobile device and always have them with you. The Kobo Book Store features more than 3.2 million titles, which includes magazines, newspapers, and books.

This app is more than just purchasing and downloading books though, as there are also a number of other features. You can track your reading style and share the information with your friends, check out what titles your friends are reading, earn awards, share comments and ideas on the Kobo community about recent reads, share notes/awards/passages on Twitter and Facebook, and even add Kobo to your Facebook Timeline which lets your friends see exactly what book you're reading.

When it comes to actually reading on your mobile device there are customization features to make the reading experience comfortable. You have the ability to change the font size and style, there is night mode for nighttime reading, and you can "curl" your page just like in real life thanks to the fun animation. You can turn pages, use personalized bookmarks if reading on your iPad, make your own library shelves, add notes to your books as you're reading them, and choose either landscape or portrait mode when you're reading.

Kobo Books was updated on Feb. 19, 2013 and currently has 23 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

I really like how realistic this app made the reading experience feel. Features like the animated page curl were really fun and unexpected.
