Ticketmaster by Ticketmaster is an entertainment app that gives you the ability to order tickets using your iOS device.

The Ticketmaster app instantly connects you to nearby concerts based on the music you have filled your iTunes library with; you will never have to wonder if your favorite artists and groups are performing. This app supports passbook at certain locations and will also provide you with mobile alerts for sales and last-minute ticket deals. Quickly and easily browse for games, shows, and concerts in your area.

Best of all you can share your plans and ticket purchases with friends through Twitter, Facebook, and Foursquare.

Ticketmaster was updated to Version 1.3.2 on February 14, 2013. It has a total of 772 customer ratings with an average of two out of five stars. Feedback has been very poor for this app as it has been plagued with a very large number of issues causing users extreme frustration, however, this most recent update should have addressed most of the bugs and provided performance improvements.

I will use Ticketmaster occasionally but I really like the apps ability to keep you informed when your favorite group and artists play simply by checking your iTunes library. The newest update removed the ever annoying CAPTCHA from the purchase process making it much more convenient. This app is a definite check-out if you’re a fan of live music and shows.
