Cardiograph: Heart Rate Pulse Measurement for iPad app review
Cardiograph: Heart Rate Pulse Measurement using your iPhone & iPad Camera
Price: FREE FOR A LIMITED TIME
Cardiograph by MacroPinch Ltd. is a fully-featured app that you can use to measure the heart rate of you and your loved ones to check your cardiovascular health.
This app works very much in the same way as a piece of real medical equipment by utilizing your iPad’s camera to take images of your fingertip.
Cardiograph enables you to create user profiles for individual people and save the results for future reference, and for monitoring your progress over time. When saving your results, Cardiograph allows you to tag a location and add notes, as well as offering printer support so you can keep a paper record of your profile.
Cardiograph was updated to version 2.4.3 in mid-March of 2013. The current version has a total of 46 customer ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars. Customer reviews are generally quite positive.
This app seems quite consistent, if not entirely reliable. Everything is laid out quite simply so you should have no trouble using the app. I think the user profiles are a great way of tracking your heart health over time.
For: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation), iPad Wi-Fi + 4G, iPad (4th generation), iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular (4th generation), iPad mini, and iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular with iOS 4.3 or later.
