AirMusic app review
AirMusic
Price: $2.99
AirMusic By Plutinosoft lets you stream music from your iOS device to another wireless music player.
So you have a ton of really great music on your device and while it has really nice speakers and some decent sound levels you still don’t get that high-quality output that a full stereo system can provide. With AirMusic you can now stream all of your media to a player such as an Xbox, PS3, or any other DLNA compatible device.
To use your new app you must connect your device to the same local network as the media device that is going to play the music. Once you have done that you can start AirMusic and then navigate to your media player’s music library and choose to use media from the network. Once you have done that you are all set to play your music from your iOS device.
The interface on this app is super attractive and very easy to navigate. Getting setup to play the music is quick and very simple and excellent instructions are provided should need assistance in getting things done.
AirMusic was last updated to Version 1.7.5 on November 16, 2012 and included better support for the PS3 and various UPnP fixes. There have been 1437 reviews of this app with an average score of 4.5 out of five stars.
I love how easily this app lets me stream my media over my network. I have both the PS3 and the Xbox and they both play very well. Being able to stream over the PC is an extra bonus as well.
For: iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad with iOS 4.3 or later. AirMusic is optimized for iPhone 5.
