MinuteCast by AccuWeather – minute-by-minute rain, snow, and sleet forecasts with Superior Accuracy™
This is no more or less detailed than any other standard weather forecasting app; however, the ground-level observations really make it shine, and provide an unparalleled level of detail and accuracy.
The new user interface looks fantastic and is incredibly easy to use, and any sudden and major changes to the weather conditions will be highlighted so you can always remain one step ahead.
This app features “nowcasts” which allow users within the U.S. and Canada to find out the exact minute it is due to rain. You can also get hourly, daily, and weekly forecasts which are accurate to within 0.6 square miles, ensuring you get details for your exact location.
SkyMotion provides severe weather warnings, including hurricanes and tornadoes. Where this app really comes into a league of its own is with integrated ground-level observations which provide information that is about as accurate as it gets. You can even share nowcasts with friends and family online via Facebook and Twitter.
Furthermore, the developer has promised that nowcasts will be released for international users in future updates, so watch this space!

Although the update to the interface has had a mixed reception, I’m definitely very impressed with it, both in terms of its ease of use and aesthetic qualities.
