Kicking Bunnies Should Never Be This Much Fun

Bounce The Bunny by Backflip Studios is a game involving action, strategy and physics all at the expense of a bunny who gets kicked in the seat of the pants by a big boot. The premise is focused on a young bunny named Bounce who dreams of touching the stars. Enter a frog wizard who creates magical bouncy bubbles and suddenly Bounce is on a bouncng adventure. The game play is simple to understand but can be challenging to perfect. You’re given a map with the goals of collecting as many stars as possible and ultimately landing on a target area. At your disposal are bouncy bubbles to propel Bounce in his effort to collect all stars without falling into the water. The placement of these bouncy bubbles is key to capturing all the stars.

Bubbles can be made anywhere on the map and you control their size through  expansion and deflation. The bubbles are moveable after they’ve been made in case you don’t like their original placements. To remove a bubble all you need to do is tap it once. There is a bubble meter on the right side of the screen limiting how many bubbles can be made. Once you’re done, draw back the boot to kick Bounce from his perch and watch the domino-like effect of your bubbles take effect. If Bounce fails to land on the target area or falls in the water, he automatically appears on his perch with his previous flight path highlighted in rainbow lines. The boot swing guage will also mark your last swing’s height to properly re-adjust it to the right amount of kicking power. 60 levels are available sectioned out into four themes. Higher unlocked levels offer more difficulty since they begin to include elements like rubber or stone bricks each with different bounce characteristics. Some mazes use bricks to completely cover the target area making collecting the stars quite challenging.

The game’s real entertainment value is coming up with the right formula to kick Bounce and grab all the stars. We especially like the integration of bounce physics which gives this game a unique feeling.  With a variety of content and creative maps Bounce the Bunny is a good game to pick up.
