Within this app you'll find a whopping 400 coloring pages that teach kids about colors, letters, and numbers by speaking in 13 different languages and dialects. User Experience

This isn't your typical coloring experience; instead, with this app the experience goes deeper allowing kids to be creative with their coloring of course but also honing their skills when it comes to numbers, letters, and colors. The app speaks these different elements to them so that while kids color and have fun, they're also learning in a relaxed and easy-going way.

Features

As mentioned there are 400 coloring pages for kids to explore and get creative with. The app focuses on the spelling of colors and numbers in all 13 languages, as well as being able to say the number, letter, and color in the 13 languages. You'll find all your basic shapes such as triangles, squares, ovals, trapezoids, and parallelograms. If you're using this app on your iPad you can also find cones, cubes, wedges, pyramids, and concentric circles. Another iPad exclusive is that it teaches the shapes of the world on a world map.

There are rewards and sound effect music, the ability to use phonetic spelling of numbers and colors if you choose, 10 world maps (exclusive to the iPad), freestyle finger painting that helps kids paint inside the lines, and a handwriting guide for letters and numbers (only available in English at this time). Some of the languages kids will be introduced to include French, Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, British English, Australian English, and American English.

Update Info

Version 21260 included some updates to the app including fix with the coloring books. Some users were having issues seeing all the books, this has now been fixed. As well there was new music added, new coloring books, a brand-new sleek user interface, new coloring pages, support for the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5 screen, the ability to save your work, and additional languages were added bringing the total up to the current 13 languages.

There are plenty of coloring book apps available so in order to stand out the developer has to offer something different. This app offers an educational twist to coloring by combining the teaching of numbers, letters, and colors in a variety of colors, which definitely acts as a stand-out feature. I liked that the app offered so many coloring pages giving kids plenty of opportunities to be creative. Unfortunately the new update has left some users a little disappointed and they seemed to like the previous version better.
