Introduction
Pain Diary CatchMyPain by Sanovation AG is a medical app that is meant to help you treat your pain by keeping track of it. It uses a modern approach by having you monitor and visual your pain through drawings and other information. This diary can then be taken with you to doctor's appointments to help you discuss your pain. The app was released on July 9, 2013 and is available in English, French, German, and Spanish.
User Experience
This app has been made to be user-friendly so that you can quickly and easily record and track your pain. Simply click on New Pain Entry to add in pain, details, and drawings. If you want to look at your past entries click on All Entries for a look.

Features
You'll be able to create a color pain drawing that shows the location and intensity of your pain. You can add details such as the time the pain occurred, the quality of your pain, and other comments. You can also track your overall happiness.
What's great is that you don't need an Internet connection to use the app so you can record data any time and any place. If you'd rather, you can register an account so that your entries will be synced to the cloud, making the information available to you on any device.
It should be noted that the iPad and Mac versions of this app feature additional features, but the iPhone app is quickly catching up.
There are a number of features coming up in future updates of the app including being able to enter diagnosis and false diagnosis, track your therapy and medications, share your pain diary directly with your doctor, a graph of pain drawings, and the ability to discuss best practices with other patients suffering from similar pain. The developer is trying to introduce new features each month so this app continues to evolve and expand.
